Airports, textures or p3d's?
« on: 25 Nov 2002, 08:14:48 »
I am currently working on an island and have an airport area leveled out. What I need to know is when placing an airport runway do I place p3d files like a road or do I just apply the textures to the gound? What are the p3d file names? Do I have to do anything special so aircraft will recognize the airfield?

Okay I got the texture thing done, thanx for the info. Now what and how do I do to get the planes to land on the run way. I did some alpha testing with my island and planes go out to sea and land.

You have to write something in the .cpp look back further in the forum and you may find it... And the planes dont land at sea...they attempt to...but they hit the water and die:)
