Well.. here's some info I picked up a long time ago from Sui:

Heli land "get in"
This is used when picking up troops (duh ;D). The trick is to assign troops as cargo before you issue the chopper with the land command. Then the chopper will wait until all units assigned to it are aboard (or confirmed dead) before going anywhere

Heli land "get out"
Use this when unloading troops. Unassignvehicle _x all your troops that you wish to disembark before issuing the land command. Then the chopper will wait until all troops disembarking are out of the chopper (or confirmed dead) before taking off again

Heli land "land"
Unconditional land command. The chopper lands and stops it's engine (if left long enough). I don't often use this command, as normally loading and unloading are the only times I want the chopper on the ground.

This should solve yer prob....

Normaly im sure it would solve it yes, but this being my very very very 1st attempt on a mission i dident get half of that  :-[

mission goes:
i wait in a base, a chopper comes to pick me and my squad up, drops us up near objective. I cant use the unload command since i need the chopper for later so im sending it just down the road to land, so i think thats whats causing me not being able to use that command (being a newbie ass i realy cant tell for sure...lol)

wouldent happend to have the time to make me a tiny sample mission sir?  ::)

thx in advance

Hey

I've never tried the load bit but herre goes.

Get you chopper, and make a waypoint near (Or wherever) the squad you want picked up. Make the waypoint, "Load" To keep the engines going, type in the activation feild of your waypoint,

Unitname flyinheight 0

And for your squad that gets in the heli, make a wayopint of "Get in"  near the Load waypoint, and click F5, click and drag from the Get in waypoint to the Load waypoint. ;)

Hope that works

O Neil ;)

PS: I've never done that before, probably won't work cause the info comes from me.....try it anyhoo.
