Hey, I don't mean to Butt in with something new in the middle of a conversation (though that's exactly what I'm doing :-\ sorry) I'm wondering if some one could help me, could the SEB guys or someone with SEB's permission make a new CPP for a Jeep with MG (standard BIS will do) useing the SEB NAM pack soldiers, that would be greatly apperciated, and maybe the truck (though I don't think they used 5tons in the 60s :-\ ) anyways any help would be appreciated.

(P.S. If this was mentioned before, sorry I tryed to look but my 56k is giving me problems)

Hey Number 6, I too had the problem of random crashes in the Nam missions I was building; I had addons placed in appropriate folders as per SEB directions. Was driving me insane. In tweaking the settings, I disabled the EAX audio setting...NOT 1 CRASH SINCE. Try it out...may solve all your problems. ALL HAIL SEB :-)

Hmm it's been a while.

And I'm here for a good reason. ;D

1. Ia Drang
The forest has some geometry/fire LOD issues I think. Not that experienced with O2 or any kind of model editing but that's why bullets don't go through the forest in certain angles. When you turn on shadows in the game, you can see the walls.
Maybe a total update to the island? Using new forests (Maybe the BAS Tonals ones?

They look awesome!).

2. Air/Armor module
We need them. At least the air module pack. Not necessarily the armor but air would be a great addition since air support had a large role in the conflict. Cooperation with some addon makers? Maybe you have done that already? I've been seeing some promising lines in the ofpec chat lately.

xP There's been some great planes released lately, like Footmunch's F4 and Skyrider.

And as always, I offer my full support for you. Well maybe I haven't said this out loud earlier, but if you need a host for SEB 'Nam addons, just contact me either by PM or e-mail and we can discuss about it.

Maybe they'll make a new version of this pack, but remember that Ebud just spent a year making stuff for Tonal and he's probably not that enthusiastic right now about the idea of remaking the Ia Drang valley. Besides, ThruYerStErNuM is going to release this little gem on November 30. I believe that it comes with new units too ;D !

I have a patch for the forests and also some other small fixes to the island already completed, there is also a team putting together some airplanes for NP2.
These will be released with a JAM conversion of the Units and a 50 mission campaign. We'll make a official announcement closer to release (soonish...)

ThruYerStErNuM will release his Ia Drang island on November 30. The island is very realistic, and it comes with a pack of new units.
