Ok im a little confused SEB Team

The mortars you have made, what are they actually meant to be? I suggested earlier you make a small 60mm, and make it portable.
Both the ones you have made are identical to look at, one being named 'M19' the other NVA/VC 60mm. The M19 is  a 60mm mortar also, but the ones i have seen all had a square base plate, not round, and much smaller.
Because of the size you have made them, i would say they more represent the larger 81mm or 82mm mortars.

Hello!
I have been wondering for a while; why does the car-15 use 30 round clips?  It should have 20 rnd clips, should'nt it?

the CAR-15 is not a CAR-15 as such, we just used the generic naming for it, its actually an XM-177E2 (the most used AR-15 carbine of the war) as far as i know the XM-177E2 can use any M16 type magazine, including the beta-c drum

a couple of comparison shots i pasted a few pages back:

CAR-15:

and the main difference:

also the fore grip(that right?) is more of an M16A1 shape

XM-177E2:

But still...   30rnd clips were not produced until the end of the war?  And another question; is it impossible to put m-16a1 clips in the Xm-177e2?  So that if you use this gun on the batllefield, you can pick up ammo from dead m16 troops?

In 1967 M16 was modified into M16A1 version. Improvements included a pushbutton on right side of the receiver, which was used to close the bolt in case of cartridge feed failure (so called "forward assist device") and some other changes, including brass defelector to prevent spent cases from hitting in the face of the left-handed soldier, and new 30 rounds box magazine instead of the original 20 rouns magazine

Hey BoNeCoLLeCToR, were you drunk when you typed that mess? Please, if you want to be taken seriously sober up before you post again. Don't feel bad, most people post with little regard to how horrid their spelling is (makes them look like children). By the way, I said it before-great job SEB!!

Hey DrStrangelove, good point, thought I would point out that had their been any indication that he was typing in English as a second language I would have cut him some slack, as it stands there is none. Many post are terribly written-and they are not all non-english speakers, most are just pure lazy. I wasn't trying to seem immature, was trying to get the point across that some people should care more about what, and how they post.
P.S. Sorry to everyone for getting off topic.
P.P.S. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas (those who observe it).

30 rnd mags were around but were pretty rare for Line troops, however you see plenty of photos of SF and LRRP team members using the 30 rnd mags.

on 'your' patrols? i dont see how its possible for you to have been in the vietnam war...your profile says you are 28 and 102 - 28 = 74, so unless you were the worlds youngest soldier there is no chance for you to have served in an armed forces till about 1988+
