to 9mm;
check the M16A4's made by earl. Or check the topic "modern us weapons" (also by earl, and about the m16's)

As you've posted, SF will use the m4. So BAS makes m4's, not m16's. The marines will most likely use the M16A4. This will be included with the USMC (MARPAT) addon by Suchey. (Looks great and will be perfect to use with the Huey made by BAS, whenever they release it :))

to Skaven;
Why the F*CK (sorry) do you think they've made this site for????????????? And why the HELL (again; sorry) do you think I'm posting feedback???????
Very much people give great feedback and without a public you could just as well quit making addons (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, please don't!!!!). But seriously; feedback will only make your addons better(if possible). And yes, we are a demanding crowd, but that should only encourage you to make the best addons around.

I'm really looking forward to the day you release you delta/ranger pack :gunman: :beat:              ;D ;D

I guess we'll have a little chalenge between top addonmakers in following days.

What i mean is BAS Ranger/Delta M4s vs. Earl's ForceRecon M4s

9mm, why does it have to be a competition?  I don't appreciate that suggestion.  I have no intention of challenging BAS's work.  Rangers and Delta Force have weapons appropriate to them, and Suchey's Marines will have their own weapons.  Neither project needs to encroach on the other.  I hate the fighting that goes on between some modders and I want nothing to do with it.  I have great respect for BAS and am eagerly awaiting the upcoming release, whenever it is.  As a fellow addonmaker, I know what it's like to underestimate the amount of work left on a project.

I heard about a similar situation regarding a British Forces MOD for Ghost Recon.

I didn't mean to offend anyone, and if i did, i'm very sorry for this.

i'm perfectly aware of fightings between modders from almost every community, when people don't respect others dedication and hard work.
But I also know that neither Earl nor BAS team would never lower themselves to perform such actions.

The challenge i was talking about would take place not at any public board but in my own head and computer screen while playing both superb (which i trully believe) addons.

Onece again, I am very sorry for hurting anyone's fellings. Well, English is not my first language and not always i'm able to write (type) down what precisely I meant.

This person started a Brit' forces MOD for Ghost Recon, he released some good work. There was also a few rival MODs aswell. But instead of them hoping to join up, it turned into a rivalry. The guy got some threating emails and forum abuse. He gave up eventually, shame. He would've released some great work if he didn't give in.

That certenaly isn't this case, for two reasons.

1 Earl isn't making the same as us, so that case dies in the root.

2 Both BAS and Earl respect each others deeply, and we are always ready to help each others, for example I've already helped earl one time,and  I'm sure he already helped some of us also.

My politic in this situations goes for, we both are trying to make each others game better,so instead of being rivals, I always try to help and learn. Even if for example we both were making the same thing,maybe this time one wil make a better job, next time the other will... so really no chance for having rivals with me.
This is how I see things, and in this particulary case,EARL, certenaly will NEVER be a rival but he would be always a good friend, since I'm a big admirer of his work  ;)

I did say it was a "similar" situation, some facts would be different.
