I just noticed you removed the CH-53 and MH-53 from the project list on your site, PLEASE say you didnt cancel those :o

As someone will probably point out soon, the CH-53E and MH-53J projects have been put back up, we have someone new to work on them (which if you check the website its not hard to find out who), so you should be seeing some high quality H-53 helos from BAS :)

Cool but may I ask 1 thing to BAS ???
1-How many people are in the BAS Team ???
2-I think the H-53's will be ready over 6 months :P
I think Bas has 15 people in the team but 1 addon takes 3 months I doubt that you finish all the projects you told.
Remember you said long time ago that you make russian choppers vehicles but if everything takes this long and you wont quit everthing will be ready in the next 4/5 years you told so many projects and 1 project in 2 months and you have 20 projects 20X2=40:12=3 year and 4 months than we are in 2005 ;D
Dont get me wrong but you can finish I think 3/4 projects and than the team will fall apart less interest in OFP.
Well good luck I really looking forward to the addons  ;)

well, yes we have a lot of projects, but the team is split in two (one for soldiers one for vehicles) so we can do maybe 3-4 projects at once and not see any loss in productivity, like at the minute, we have 4 projects pretty much done and just waiting for release, 5 if you count the MH-47E update, (Deltas/Rangers/OH-58D/MH-60), so out of our projects at the minute:
(Youll have to bear with me, this may get confusing)

SPECIAL OPS PROJECT

HH/MH-60G PAVEHAWK
MH-60L/K BLACKHAWK
MH-53J PAVELOW III
DELTA FORCE
U.S. NAVY SEALS
U.S. RANGERS

MARINES PROJECT

AH-1W SUPERCOBRA
UH-1N HUEY
CH-46 SEA KNIGHT
CH-53E SUPER SEA STALLION

US ARMY PROJECT

OH-58D KIOWA WARRIOR
AH-64D APACHE
RAH-66 COMANCHE

Strikeout = Finished/nearly finished projects
Glow = Projects being made by one team member with a small bit of help from other guys
Italic = Projects that are not planned to be worked on any time soon
Bold = Next major projects

So if you look, the major portion of the team only has 3 projects to work on, and the people that work on the men dont really do much on the helicopter side of things and vice versa (for the most part)

AH-1W SUPERCOBRA
UH-1N HUEY
U.S. NAVY SEALS

So if one addon takes 3 months, in 3 months time youll have 5 addons (not to mention the various loadouts/colourschemes), as well as all the addons about to be released in the near future.

I'd say 5 addons every 3 months isnt too bad...

i think those addon makers guys put a lot of time and dedication for us to play and not even seeing their hard work put into user made missions also one thing we tend to forget is that they are human beings and they do have a life
to live and that they find time to work on great quality addons for us to enjoy THEY DESERVE RESPECT FROM US ALL
don't forget that they do it for FREE don't forget that.
So what it takes time to have an addon that's their choice.
If they whant to release a top quality addon you all know that it takes time.

so guys be patient and you will see it will be worth the wait
im sure about it.

sorry if i got a little carried away ;)

Due to the problems they create, the team have undertaken a policy of not posting any information or pictures of the addons until the are ready for release. This is because 3-4 pictures and a few lines of text can, and have generated 100's of emails asking:
"when is this ready?"
"where can i download this" and
"why does the link to the download for xxx unit not work?",
as you can appreciate having 100's of emails like this flooding your inbox is not fun, and we do try to reply to all emails, so it does consume a vast amount of time which could be directed to addon making.

so i'm sorry, but no pics of anything for the time being...

And you also have to appreciate that we ARE all human, contrary to common conception, and we do all have lives outside of OFP, and these include Jobs, School/College, Wives/Girlfriends (which take a lot of time).

We also have the problems of location, as there are BAS team members in all 4 corners of the globe, so as you can appreciate that causes some communication problems....

So if you can cut us some slack, we are trying our best, and for nothing other than enjoyment, to get these addons out to you...

Just a simple question: Are you releasing all the addons at once, or one at a time (since you have several of them ready :D)  Well, just wanted to know that!

Good luck Bas!

i dont think we have a set plan, they arent completely finished yet, but nearly there, i think it will be as soon as they are finished they get released, some may get released together, but i guess that will just be a coincedence :)

Its not been cancelled, we still want to do it, but at the minute we dont have the manpower to make a whole new blackhawk, we'll get round to it someday though :)
