GUI Menu Tutorial

Hello,
I apologize if this is a oft-asked question, however searching these boards and the official boards didn't turn up any information.

I am currently in search of a tutorial on the creation of the ingame GUI menus for OFP:Res. I have tried examining the only GUI enabled mission I have, but it seems a little too complicated for me to decipher.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
