I need Knows about help

What I'm wanting to do is simple , GroupA is attacked , the defenders being GroupA call for help ,when GroupB gets the call then Group B heads to GroupA now somewhere in here I would like to put the,  GroupB knowsAbout (everything) that GroupA does before they reach the battlesite.

 What goes where , how does it look , or is there a script
that is just as easy, the attackers numbers or group will basically be unknown untill the engagement takes place
  Or is this even possible?

As far as I know, the knowsabout command is a check to see what one unit knows about another, not to tell them about one another. Try using the reveal command.
