Fremantle class patrol boat
« on: 17 Nov 2002, 10:15:02 »
I've almost finished an addon of a Fremantle class patrol boat. Still a couple of minor problems that need sorting though.

First off - I'd like to add two 360-degree white navigational lights to the main and stern flag masts.
Can this be done? - Ive already added port/starboard nav lights as well as a pair of spotlights.

Secondly how do I get rid of the muzzle flash?
I added the following to the config file but it didn't do a thing!

class CfgModels
{
   class Default {};
   class Vehicle: Default {};
      class BoatW: Vehicle {};
      class STU_FCPB: BoatW {};
};

Thanks Mate! :) heres a copy of the config file.
If you need the actual model I can send that to you as well.
(It's quite large though)

yeah this thing is a beast! I had the good fortune to test it at an early stage as part of the ADF Mod and the Boffors is sweet. Too bad the .50s don't work  :( but you do what you can. With the few bugs I found ironed out and those new textuers this will be an awesome add-on.

BTW Wires what were those bugs you mentioned? no-ones given me any feedback yet  >:(
If you liked the beta version you will love the latest version - heres a pic of the helmsman on the 'flying bridge' during a night mission!

The only bugs I found were cosmetic really. From the shots I've seen of the new version you have covered everything as far as I can tell. There was some difference b/w a couple of the outside LODs, one of the zodiaks would dissappear and a couple of textures and of course you hadn't added all the detail yet.

Looking very nice now though  ;D I really like the all the equip on the bridge, top stuff.

BTW StuKa I did send a fair amount of feedback to UrKeT, he must have not passed it on  :-[ I'll contact you directly from now on.

StuKa...I sent you all the info from the BETA testers a month ago. Maybe something went wrong and you didn't get them, I'll forward them to you again ;)

Any news on the patrol boat StuKa?

Did you get my email? 'cause I'd really like to know what you thought of my idea.

Try this to see if it works. Should be all you need as it worked on the Tiger Gunboats.

class CfgModels
{
   class Default {};
   class Ship:default{};
   class STU_FCPB: Ship {};
};
