Here's an image of my progress on making the 1st person LOD for the AN-94 Abakan (Russia's new 5.45x39mm weapon).
The area around the rear sight is messy, I struggled to build that section, but now that it's blocked in, I can see how I should have started modeling, so I'll go back and recreate it.
A few questions - what sort of polygon counts are appropriate for the different weapon LODs?
The Abakan has a unique firing mechanism. It has the option for:
- single shot
- 2 round burst @ 1800rpm with no recoil until after 2nd shot
- Full auto. It starts with the 2 round burst @ 1800rpm with delayed recoil, then cycles down to 600rpm for the rest of the burst.
Will it be possible to model those properties in the config file?
