Major probs getting mods to work????

Hi guys
This is probably a really annoying question but can some one help?
Ive downloaded to SJB SAS units off armaholic and created a new folder in my addons folder with it in it.
Now the problem is, when I go to the editor I cant find where the units are? The add on is showing up in the "expansions" list on my menu page but just cant find them in editor to use?
Ive deleted the "ACE" files as it says in the installation info but still no joy?
Please help this is holding up my mission making, lol

Its the only one IVe tried to be honest

No problem, we all have to start somewhere.

The first thing I would suggest is download a different (preferably small and well-known) addon and see if it works. Then you'll know if the problem is with the particular addon.

Actually, if you deleted ACE files, you were using a mod already.

Armaholic downloads always point you to a helpful link to explain how to use mod folders; Are you familiar with that method?

Did you edit your game executable to recognize the new mod folder? -mod=MyModFolder

Does the mod folder require a config file to be placed inside the user folder?

Did you read the readme that came with the mod?
Most authors will include guidance in their readme to help you get started with the resource.
