Cut scene boarder?
« on: 13 Jun 2010, 00:50:42 »
Hello OFPEC members, I am making a mission where, in a cut scene, you view a West soldier, and the camera whites out, and then you see an East soldier, behind a West soldier. The East soldier shoots the West soldier, and then the camera whites in, and you see the West soldier that was in there in the beginning. NOW is there a possible way (possible CutRsc?) to get a white boarder around the killing scene, so that it looks like it is a dream/flashback?

Thanks in advance,
~MadPup~  :cool2:

Possibly. Give it a go and find out.  :dunno:

IIRC cutscenes will always have a cinema border, regardless of what you do with the showCinemaBorder command. Chances are only a dialog will have sufficient z-index to overlay it, although cutresources and cutobjects may do the trick.

One way to find out.  ;)

Thanks bedges. And if CutRsc won't do it, I can always have text show up saying "2 weeks ago" lol
