Yes, it is most certainly possible to convert single missions into multiplayer missions.
Frankly I'm not sure how to proceed in answering such an elementary question. There's dozens of relevant tutorials in the Editor's Depot section of this website.
This one would be particularly relevant. Yes, it's for ArmA, but many of the issues discussed are the same in OFP and ArmA.
Does "sneap team" mean the Sniper Team official BIS mission? There might be a bunch of co-op conversions of that one already. Search around.
In order to edit someone else's singleplayer mission, you will almost certainly need to unpack it from a PBO file. Use Amalfi's pbo-decryption tool, or, if that fails, use Mikero's Eliteness tool. (Both available from
this page). Then, take the unpacked folder and place it in your user missions folder so that you can edit it in the mission editor.
WARNING: Some authors may not want you to create derivative works of their missions and then distribute them. BIS is probably okay with it. For 3rd-party missions, it would be polite to contact the author if you're going to distribute the mission widely.
Anyway, at minimum, you will need to add "playable" units. You may also need to take into account that
scripting commands can behave differently in multiplayer.
