Get in damn mg!

Ok, I have this mission were I need a resistance soldier in a mg. Since ther is no mg under armored, I got an empty one and put in the soldier's init: mgsoldier assignasgunner mgeast
Nothing happends. What am I doing wrong?

Instead of assignasgunner use moveingunner .  assignas only works when you give them a get in waypoint.

If you want it to look good (if its in a middle of a mission). Then you can use a "get in" WP and your "this assignasgunner MG". But IÂ'm sure you already knew that

If you only use a getin waypoint on top of the MG,
without using the assignasgunner, it will also work , but
i'm sure you already knew that  ;D

Yes, but that just spoils the fun of using the assign command
