Make unit start mission holding AT?

Hi guys Im making a mission where an ambush  by AI kicks off the action. Now Ive removed all weapons of the ai and equiped them with RPG's then synced a destroy WP to a trigger activated by Blufor "present" which all works fine the only prob is...... sometimes the AI take ages to take the RPG from their backs and aim and by ths time the Blufor AI have taken them out with the M2???
Ive tried <"atman1 selectWeapon "RPG7V"> but this doesnt make him get the weapon ready???

Nice to see Arma2 suffers from the old requirement for brute force techniques.

First, reveal the armour to the rpg loon.
Next, get the rpg loon to dotarget the armour.
Finally, if all else fails, setcaptive the rpg loon until the armour is destroyed.
