I have lost my CD for ArmA and I was simply wondering if there was another way to run it Without?

1.14 or newer no longer require the CD.

So you only need to install from your DVD, with your valid key.

ok so ive got the 1.08 patch, I try to install it and it says "Wrong cd key" but it worked fine for the install... what

am i doing wrong?

v1.08 still requires the CD. You'll have to install v1.14 before the DVD is no longer required.

Edit: Wait, did you use a legal ArmA key? It shouldn't be giving you that error if you did.

but im not quite sure since the game itself isnt

would it be possible to install the patches till i get to 1.14?

You can get arma for 5-10 €/$.
If you don't want to invest this amount,
you are not worth playing the game.

I knew you were looking for a way to play a fake ArmA copy without it asking for a CD. The funniest thing is that you thought installing a patch would work, but most patches edit the .exe files of the install so that they require a serial number or CD again. By installing v1.08 you screwed up your illegal ArmA crack as it replaced the .exe. Even installing v1.14 won't help now.

Well, I'm locking this as it appears the topic starter does not have a legal copy of ArmA and therefore should not be asking for help to patch it on these forums.

If I am wrong and you have a legal copy of the game, you should contact the people you bought the game from for help resolving any issues with it.
