Campaign PBO
« on: 26 Mar 2009, 18:02:06 »
Can you tell me how you compress a folder containing campaign files into a .pbo file from the mission editor. I did the following steps but the campaing doesn't display in the campaign list:

- I created a folder called SahraniConflict.Sara containing a folder "missions" with my missions, the campaign description.ext and the overview.html

- I selected Save -> Export to singleplayer missions

- Copied/Pasted the SharaniConflict.Sara.pbo file into the Campaigns folder

Did I miss something, cause the name doesn't appear in the list, it only appears if I copy the SahraniConflict.sara folder inside the Campaigns folder?

I don't think you can do it like that, you have to manually .pbo the campaign folder using for instance cpbo (found in the Kegetys ArmA Tools package) or Mikero's Eliteness. Both should be painless and easy to use :)

My procedure works, I just needed to reload the game after moving the .pbo file from the singleplayer mission folder to the campaign one. If I remember well this procedure was suggested by BIS to allow you to create a campaign .pbo without using a third party tool.
