Flatten for airport
« on: 03 Nov 2002, 02:04:55 »
How can I select only the area I want to level for airport? I know how to set it but I can't remember how to select the area that will be affected, it's been too long away from this tool  :-\

Hold Shift-Ctrl and draw a red rectangle round the desired area with the left mouse button.

Then use the Exact function to set the area to the height you want.

I can't help you with visitor as I don't use it much at all.

The above was in relation to WrpEdit.

Wrpedit was the very first island tool available.
It works with all versions of Windows.....I think.
It only works with standard map sizes (12.8km X 12.8km)
It only works with OPRW format .wrp files.

WrpTool is a larger program which came out next after WrpEdit.
It works best with Windows XP or Windows 2000...........and less well with Windows Me or Windows 98.
It works with other map sizes in addition to the standard size.
It produces 4WVR format wrp files.

Visit the WrpTool site here for more detailed info:

VISITOR:
On one of the top toolbars there are FOUR buttons next to each other.

The one has a SQUARE in it, the other has a + SIGN in it and the last has a - SIGN in it.

Select the 1st, to SELECT the area. (Blank)
Select the 2nd, to EXPAND to that area. (+)
Select the 3rd,  to REMOVE your selection. (-)
