getting a chopper to land

Sorry about the posts, but im having a problem getting the chopper to land, it starts out where your waiting for a chopper to pick you up, then it takes you else where. well, i cant get it to land, i can only get it to hover. i have made it land, but inorder for that to work i have to make a get out watpoint, then next to that a get in waypoint. and i have to change that.
If anyone anyone at all can help, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

There are several tutorials on helicopters. Please check that section and search the forum before posting questions that have been answered before (actually I've already answered this particular one today..   )

But.. You need a 'H' object on the spot you want it to land. Put a move WP on the spot, and put heliname land "LAND" in the Script line of the waypoint.

That will make the helicopter land. If it's landing for units to get it, make it a "LOAD" waypoint, or for units to get out, make it "TRANSPORT UNLOAD".

That's it.

oh.. where it says 'heliname' you have to replace that with whatever you named your helicopter.

I did i put Chopper1 land "LAND" .i tried about 10 different ways, trying to make it land, most of the time, i just watched as it hovers over me
