TV set
« on: 16 May 2008, 18:17:33 »
Hi, I've been working on today with a new tv set for me campaign, but now the problem is how I'm going to get it to the mission? I've looked, and found one tutotrial which was old and gave me an error messages when I made with it, but I haven't succeeded to add this (check below) to my campaign resources.
Could someone guide me to right way, also from where I can find .paa converter? Adobe didn't have one in CS2
Thanks for your help

EDIT: Would like to also know which color is the "empty space" in arma?

I use TexView2 for all my .paa conversions.  Just save your image as a .tga (32 bit uncompressed) with transparency as applicable for your "empty" spaces then open it in TexView.  Re-save it as a .paa and voila.

Edit:

Also, noticed a small error in your "crawl" of your news overlay.  Common English for people from Iraq is Iraqi not Iraqian (I am assuming that is what you were trying to say).

Good luck!

you need to make your own resource for that if i'm right

try this tutorial .. on page 7 it says something about inserting pictures..
It's for OFP but it should be the same in arma

you can use the command

createdisplay to display the resource you made.
