I assume you mean that you want to create a waypoint while the mission is being played.  If that is so, I don't think this is possible, although maybe one of the editing gurus can prove me wrong.

However, if the point of your waypoint is to cause a unit or group to move dynamically during the mission, you can use the doMove command with triggers to have the unit move to the specified location when a certain condition is met.

Your right there is a simple answer.  Simply:

-Load up the OFP mission editor
-Add a unit.
-Select that unit.
-Press the [F4] key on your keyboard.
-Then doubble click where you want the waypoint to be.
-Then select the waypoint type etc.
-Click the okay button.

Also I suggest you have a look here:

No, sorry I wasn't very clear...   :-[

I explain... ;)

Example : I place  3 move-wp and the last is a loadwp.

Can I insert a new waypoint between the first and the third move-wp without deleting all the others after the first move-wp??
 ???

Hi

As I understand it.

You are in the editor.
You have placed some waypoints.
The last ones are in the right position all set up with the right select type options load, getin, seek and destroy or whatever.
You now realise you want a new waypoint before these last two.
You dont want delete these last two and insert new waypoints and reinsert the last two again.

Well you dont have to :)

The Waypoint order field is the answere ;) Its in the options on each waypoint.
Insert the waypoint where you want it and change its number in the order of waypoints to suit your needs.

If you had inserted 7 waypoints numbered 0 to 6 (they start at 0) You are wanting to insert a waypoint 3 from the end.
So that is 6+1 new waypoint = 7 (8 waypoints in total)
And  7-2 = 5 the number for the new waypoints Waypoint order field.

Kind Regards walker
