Some ofp editting tools I had laying around.
« on: 01 May 2008, 21:42:59 »
I'm cleaning out my hard drive and I found a bunch of good ofp resources.  As far as I know OFPEC does not have these already.  I went through them and I deleted the ones you already had.  Hopefully you guys can make use of them!

MissionSQM.zip:  A fully commented mission sqm file.

AddonMngr.zip: A tool that analyzes your ofp install and finds addon folders and allows you to select which ones you wish to use.  It also allows you to delete addon folders within the interface.

Models_Classnames.zip: An organized hypertext list of all p3ds and their associated class names.

P3DProject.zip: A list of p3d files and their associated .paa and .pac files, sorted in alphabetical order.  Plain text format.

TextureSwap.zip: From the readme: "This utility will allow users to change the texture file assignments inside of an unencrypted P3D file.
The utility will accept textue file types of .paa, .pac, and .jpg. File name lengths are not important as this utility rewrites the .P3D file and it's boundries as necessary. Only unencrypted .P3D files will work with this utility. You must use the "unpack-sqm" utility to unencrypt these files. The "unpack-sqm" utility and instructions for creating add-ons can be found at Operation Flashpoint Editing Center (http://www.concept-5.com/ofp)."
 Concept-5.com...  Old file!

comref_102002.zip:  The comref for ofp from 2002, home edition.  It requires an xml capable browser.

Not included:

OpFlash_-_Uber_Editor_Tutorilal:  302 pages of editor tutorial, includes figures and pictures, compiled by Merciless Creations.  It's in pdf format, and it too large to upload (via the forums).  If there is interest in this thing, as likely a lot of it still applies to ArmA, we can work out some way to get it to OFPEC.

If they all work, then consider putting them in the OFP - Editing/Scripting Resource Beta Testing & Submission forum. They could be a good addition to OFPEC.  :D

This is in the wrong forum, eh?  Maybe a mod can move it.

Thanks for the effort there Max_Power, although I do believe we already have the Models_Classnames, P3DProject, and TextureSwap in the Editors Depot, possibly also the Uber guide thing too.

Not sure how useful the old command reference would be though as the one we have has the same info in it.    :cool2:

Oh, I looked.. I guess I missed them.  Well, that's what the review process is there for!

Where are they?  I'm looking in the ofp reference section and I'm not seeing them.  I do see the Uber guide, though!

Aye well, the P3dProject and the Models_Classnames are both here.

The texture tool is here.

I see how I missed them.  I was looking in the reference folder for those lists, not the tutorial section.  It doesn't make any sense to me that they are there.  Oh well, I guess I can just delete all those things off my hdd like I had originally intended!  Thanks for your help, Planck!
