EDIT:

when an AI unit is turned to another direction, it just faces north again :S

it works to disable the move AI, then they dont turn around,  but once they have control again they just face north.

is there a work around?

try 2 give it order 2 dowatch a static object... or even beter tel it 2 watch a position... it shud work :D

Haha, what a coincidence. A few days ago I thought that a function for cutscene dialogues could come in handy (unit1 faces unit2).
It should help in ensuring that (both) objects look at each other.. Not sure if that would solve your problem however?

Going to release the function together with a couple of others on the ED board, probably today.
