If one doesn't want a briefing screen
« on: 24 Aug 2007, 21:56:51 »
I'm finalizing a campaign, and I want to have the final cutscene on a map different other than the last actual mission. For this reason I want the player to be taken directly from the outro of the last mission to the main part of the final cutscene, skipping over the briefing of the cutscene mission. I recall there was a way to do this (wasn't it done in the CWC campaign?), but I can't find the information...

So please, OFPEC, pimp my campaign! :D

So how do I do it? Something to do with the campaign description.ext?

Don't double post.
If you have something to add to your post after a short period of time modify it instead of replying to yourself.

As for your question, I think it goes so that you just add the final cutscene in the description.ext as a regular mission and just don't put any kind of briefing.html in the mision folder.
That should keep you from getting a briefing in the beginning.. :dunno:

Would this work? This might also work as well.

Chris :)
Need proof-reading for anything? Need a banner for your upcoming mod? Need a pic for your mission? Hit me up with a message. I have a bit of knowledge in Photoshop and formal/military writing.
Be sure to provide sufficient details when posting what you want requested. Thanks guys!
