Enemies and synchronisation
« on: 27 Sep 2007, 01:37:41 »
In the mission I'm currently working on, I have a trigger linked to some waypoints via synchronisation. When I get into the trigger, the friendlies start following their waypoints. That's good.

However, it's not the case for enemies. The enemies also have waypoints and they are synced as well. There are three enemy groups, and each group has simply just one waypoint that's synced - that's all. They keep moving even when I'm not in the trigger. I'm also sure NO other unit on West has gone into that trigger (it's West activated, and it's in an open tent).

Any help?

Thanks guys!

Chris :)

ok this is 1.46 right, shouldnt make a dif. i think you need the 1st w/p of the enemye with careless in it, that way they wounht do anything, make them dumb, they 'dont no nutin', then after the snyc change it to aware or combat ,ect  and they will react to your men. i beleive thats whats going on,,

Wait, I think I remember now.

In my first mission ever in OFP, I did the same syncing thing with tanks. I just gave them two waypoints, and synced the first one. Thanks for reminding me bro! If that doesn't work, I'll try the "careless" attribute.

** EDIT **

Unfortunately your solution didn't work - but mine worked lol. You just gotta make the unit's first waypoint "Move" and sync that. I also found out it's the case for West units as well. Probably the same for Resistance and Civilian.
