Parachuting config???

How do you change the type of soldier and/or their kit for parachuters?
I can only get West Black Op silenced and it won't let me change their kit with the add/remove commands.
Or if there is a tutorial or FAQ, where can I find it?

 The easier way is :    make your soldier (dummy).... choose flying under the special field instead of information.

go to Empty/objects in the editor... find the parachute...(call it chute)  also choose flying for it's special field..
then..in the units init field, put this:

dummy moveindriver chute

I'm pretty sure that's it...  (I've never used the method myself... you can just have any unit moveincargo to a plane and they'll get chutes automatically won't they ?)

well, yes, you don't need to put the soldier in flying mode though ;)

If you want greater control over the initial height of the parachute, use the line in the init field of the parachute:

this setpos[(getpos this select 0), (getpos this select 1), #]

where #= height in meters.

If you want more than a couple of parachuters, I suggest using a HALO script (check Editors depot), and just tweak the setting to let them open immediately (usually there's an option on what height to initiate, and what height to open the chutes, just make these the same and the chute opens right away)
