flares and Fire command for ArmA

Hey all, first post here
I've searched for this problem but from what i can see the only answers available are for OFP versions and from what i've tried they are not useable in ARMA

I'm trying to get OPFOR to fire flare shells from the ak74GL.
Anyone know how to ?
so far i have 'this addmagazine "flarered_gp25";' in each init field of the guys i want to fire the flares and then a trigger set for blufor to enter that will give the fire command to the opfor grenadiers. however the fire commands i've tried (basically all examples from ofp) have not worked.

i did search. for 'grenade', AK74GL, flarered_gp25  etc etc.

flarered_gp25 is the magzine name. try use its ammo name:
"F_40mm_Red"

give unit flare and rifle with launcher (units init field)
this addMagazine"FlareRed_GP25";this addMagazine"FlareRed_GP25"; this addWeapon"AK74GL"   

to fire flare
unitname fire ["GP25Muzzle", "GP25Muzzle", "FlareRed_GP25"]
