ww2 Flags
« on: 08 Apr 2003, 08:54:55 »
Havn't checked out the forums for a while, I've been busy with work, but im back and i've got a little pressie for you lot   :)) .  The most important flag 1st of course!  ;)

Now I'm not a boffin when it comes to historical flags, so any suggestions are more than welcome.

for the beginners, stick the jpg in the missions directory, create a flag object in the editor and put the following into the units init field:

this setflagtexture "name of flag"

e.g.

this setflagtexture "brit.jpg"

enjoy...

I will look into those other flags you mentioned, have you any handy links or web reference?

in the meantime:

i have no idea on the names of these, but im sure one of you does, so let me know and I will rename them and package them up in a zip for distribution.

It would be nice to have a full set before i do that though, if a full set is ever possible  ;)  but at least the major flags of the ww2 conflict, could seriously do with more allies flags to offset all the german ones.  Again, post links and images for any suggestions.

hope these are of use...

enjoy  :P
