Problem with "Get in" CH47
« on: 21 Oct 2002, 21:31:44 »
I can't get more then 12 unit's to get into CH47.

I want 24 units

I use waypoints but don't have to use the
"Soldier AssignAsCargo CH47" wirh every soldier.

I have 2 Officers with 11 unit attached to each Officers

I tried dicking around with it, but haven't been able to come up with a solution. However, I think the problem that you're having is the two waypoints being on top each other.

Okay, I used:

this AssignAsCargo CH47

with the other group, and it worked....a faster way of doing it instead of typing it all out would be to press ctrl + c to copy, and then just paste (ctrl + v) into each soldiers init field.

Or, you could try to join them into one group (done using waypoints) and then unjoin them once they land.

Your choice.

Anton

PS: I hope I'm not wrong.

Okay, I hadn't tried the join waypoint, i just thought it might be an avenue to check out.

The way I did get it to work, however, was by having two groups of infantry and one of them just got into the CH47 by following the 'get in' waypoint.

The other group also had a 'get in' waypoint, but it didn't work until I put "this AssignAsCargo CH47" in each and every one of those 11 troops' init fields. (ch47 being the name i assigned to the helicopter.)

Good luck. If you need more help, I'll just save you the mission, and you can check it out for yourself.

----Modified----
Are you trying to get them to start in the helicopter right away? Because if you are, then you have to use the MoveInCargo command.
