Missle range's
« on: 18 Aug 2006, 11:31:11 »
Hi.

Was wondering if anyone can tell me what makes the SUCH USMC Javilin  missle blow up at 1000 metres. I've been searching through the configs and cant identify it.

We run our CTI's and most of our modern missions with view distances beyond 1km now and its making the Jav a little useless when engaging MBT's at long range.

OFP missiles have a lifetime roughly about 12 seconds after which they get destroyed..
Maybe that's the reason..?

Yeah, that's the reason.  Once the lifetime is up the missiles automatically explode.  Unfortunately, there is no easy way to extend the life of a missile.

Does the "timetolive=50;" will work?
The propeller is just a big fan in front of the plane used to keep the pilot cool. When it stops, you can actually watch the pilot start sweating.
