How can I make a unit know about another unit?

I'm wondering how to make a group of snipers actually snipe well.

They seem to not see a group of men wandering around 400 or so meters away.

I tried setting the Info Age of the enemies, but this must deal with something else.

So, my question remains.

Any help is... very... helpful...   MPHG  =)

you should try making the snipers' skill up to the max...


In my experience with AI snipers, they tend not to know about you unless you're firing and making a racket, or you're about 50-100m away....so maybe have the enemy squad attacking a small outpost or something so the snipers know they are there?

if you wish the snipers to see someone at a certain distance, create a trigger, and put in the 'on activation' box

{_x reveal sniper_name} foreach thislist
when the units enter the trigger, the snipers will know about them, even if they're behind buildings or hills.
