Planes taxeing down runway

Hello,

Do u know how to make a plane say turn right....taxi down the side of runway then turn onto main runway and then take off......(done by ai not player)

Yes, create your own island. ;) The taxing ways are coded into the islands, any waypoints you set for planes will be followed after they're airborne.
Maybe you could push around the plane with setvelocity scripting.

EDIT: Well, perhaps you're asking how to just get it taxing... Place the plane somewhere on the airport and give it a waypoint for it's flight. Everything else will happen on it's own.

If you want more control over the taxiing, you might be able to play with this script by Mandoble:

This forces a plane to take off in the direction it's pointing, whether it's on a runway or not. You might be able to play with the arguments to make it only taxi, or it might give you some ideas for making your own script.

note that mandoscramble.sqs purpose is to allow a plane to takeoff without needing runaways, not to taxii. You may use similar concept to taxi tha plane, but it would require far more accurate control of the velocity vectors and times to taxi the plane just where you want.
