Error D3DERR_NotAvailable

Hi guys,

I haven't played Operation Flashpoint for a while, and when I got some more ram, I wanted to play it again. Anyway, after I installed it, and updated it to version 1.96 GOTY (since I have a GOTY copy of the game), and tried to run it, an error occured :

Cannot create 3D device
Adapter 0 (my graphic card) fullscreen
Resolution 1024x768 format (...) refresh 75hz
Error D3DERR_NotAvailable


I have the original copy of the game. I also installed ECP v 1.085


I would greatly appreciate any help in getting my game to run properly,
