camera.sqs woes...
« on: 18 Jan 2006, 19:08:55 »
I've been having a problem trying to use "camera.sqs" to remake a cutscene

the problem is that after i paste the info that the script puts on the the comp's clipboard and test it, it always seems to put the camera out in the middle of the sea, and all it will do is bounce everynow and then.....

is there something that has to be put in to keep that from happening?

show us what you've cut/pasted so far, then we might be able to help, as it could be any number of things...

Actually show us the whole script.

I bet the camera is getting created at [0,0,0] and for some reason is stuck there.

Quick stab in the dark:

You have started your camera script by copy/pasting a tutorial, which named the camera "_cam".

You then copy/paste in the stuff from camera.sqs. It uses the name "_camera" for the camera.

I only say that because it has happened to me on many occasions.
