Questions about onBriefing
« on: 30 Nov 2005, 04:58:47 »
Okay, so I have music, not a sound, play during the Plan section of the briefing.  Here's the thing though; as you all probably know, the Notes, Gear and Group sections all have their own "sounds" (whether null or not) that play.  The default is silence, because...it is.

So, if the player switches to the notes, the song obviously stops.  Is there ANY way around this?  Is there a way to have the same song play while viewing all sections of the briefing WITHOUT getting interrupted when switching between the sections?  I realize that having music in this place is not common, however, that simply doesn't matter to me.  I want to get it to work, and yes, I realize that it was meant for a single sound(s), not a whole music track.

Also; is there no way to get music to play at the debriefing (when you win/lose, statistics show)?  I have never run across any onDebriefing or anything heh heh, so I'm wondering if that's possible?  That would certainly be a plus.

Anyways, thank you for reading this, if anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Nor in mine.  I did play with it briefly once, but no luck.

Debriefing I didn't try.  No harm in trying to guess the command and see if it exists but is undocumented.

All you can do is put links to other pages in the Plan page, in the hope that people will click them first (and therefore stay in the Plan) until the music stops.   Also, remember that most people know this now:  if they like the music they will hang around for abit to listen to it.   On other occasions I know I've hit the Notes tab as fast as I possibly could.  ;D
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play
