fake_death in MP does not work

Moinsen,

I have found that nice skript in the libary, which u can use to fake dead.

BUT i cant use it in MP-games on dedicatet server.Neither the original nor my modifikated one.

It uses addaction to give u the option of playing (switching) to deathanimation.

Playing dead is working fine. When i press the menue i fall down and everybody can see that, but if i get up noone sees me standing up! They just see a deadbody floating on the ground.
Its a good lol-effect but not good for the game  ;)

Does anybody ever used it in a MP-game? Or has an idea how to solve this problem???

ohh, there is one thing i found out: When u use other animations like salut or show stop signe, everything is working fine.

is there a line switchMove "null" after the dead anim?, you'df have to make sure it's after a getSpeed check

meanwhile i have found that in the comreference:

Use switchmove "" to switch back to default movement is there is no transition back, otherwise person may be stuck.

had no chance to test it jet, but i think this will do fine  8)

no that was not the clue, no effect to other MP-Units.

Seems as if i had to make it happen on all clients explicite. Which is not necessary for the fake itselfe. But why  ???

Lol man ok here is the thing....if someone will shoot u and u will go down....there will be msg if that person killed u......but for example u used FD and person like WTF?!?!?! and trust me he will shoot u till ur brain will come out from ur A** :)    so my opinion thats really stupid vs deathmaches.......unless u will play agaist PC...

S0GSEAL are u shooting at dead-bodys laying around near flags or vehicles? Why not? Because they are dead??? ;)



I dont know exactly but i thing "playing dead" is not against any martial law, so i would like to give it a try :)



And if u have the time to read the msges while playing then u must be one of thees campers or have one of these verylong custom msges.

I now play this for a while and i can say that about 80% of ALL players stop shooting at u when they see u falling... they even stop shooting when they think u were falling.

Give it a try when u were ambushed from the side and u cant run and have bad chance in duell at that time: PRESS THE LAYDOWNBUTTON... then face enemy and shoot - good chance, at last a better one.

thx for ur opinion, but i have my own experience - what i could have needed is a solution of a technicle problem.

hmmm...well when u try to do missions then u dont wanna play anymore:P
u keep doing something.....im creating mission....like for example getting lots of different stuff and puting it together^^
