wave2lip doesn't work
« on: 06 Nov 2005, 14:30:27 »
Hey guys

In the snYper manual was a url from a nice site that text converts to spoken speech into a .wav file
http://www.research.att.com/projects/tts/demo.html
It works great with ofp but if I put these .wav files into wave2lip, nothing happen
Normal spoken words in a microphone just work normal with wave2lip

Could anyone help me out?

Created a short "hello" at this site, dragged it right on wave2lip, and it created a lip file.

Maybe the .wav extension got lost when you renamed the long filename?

waw2lip has two requirement that must be met:
1) The program must be placed in the root folder of your HD (or al least have a folderpath without any [SPACEBAR]'s). I have mine directly in c:\waw2lip
2) The .wav files must be in the correct OFP format before they are converted into lip files

Ok, blackbuddy,

I tried the same as you.......I typed in some text which the site converted into a .wav file for me.

I downloaded the .wav file and checked that the .wav file was 16 bit mono, then converted it to a .lip file with WavToLip.

Everything worked just fine, I now have a lip file to go with my .wav file.

All I have to do now is convert the .wav file into an .ogg file and put the .ogg and .lip together wherever I want them.
