Yes the real problem is that in the game you're constrained to only 1, whereas in real life he would (if allowed) carry 6.

And no I didn't forget to hit the solve button, I always leave my threads open for a day or two in case anybody has anything interesting to add.

Anyway I expect to release the mission on the beta board later today.     Don't get excited, its just a bugfixed version of a BIS mission.

On my Land Nav course for ROTC we each carried a standard M16A3 firing 5.56x45mm rounds, an MP5N 9x19mm Personal Defense Weapon and an M9 9mm sidearm.  :D

Yes, we do love our guns  ;D

My two cents (or pennys where i'm from) would edge towards using the Beretta instead of the Mac-10. From my understandings of who in the US military has access to this weapon it seems that only spec ops, VIP protection types and perhaps tank crews. I'm pretty sure the Mac-10 was carried in Vietnam by some green berets due to its rapid fire close range killing potential. I doubt that it would be issued to a regular GI-joe as he won't have the training to use it properly and would end up spraying bullets everywhere and not hitting a thing...
But from a gameplay point of view the Mac-10 would probably play better than the beretta, but not be as realistic. Theres my words of possible wisdom, enjoy  ;D

Um, well, you better be a silent professional if you're using the MM-1 grenade launcher.  ::)

I haven't even see a real MM-1 yet, and during training my platoon G-2 pulled a night hitch with some Rangers from Benning - those loons have some wacy stuff. (Ever seen a sawed-off M203? :o) Also, the MAC-10, while semi-rare, is just as easy to aquire as a Mossberg 550. Our forward element teams issue that stuff to their point men all of the time.
