Fourth of July Party, Yeah!

FOURTH OF JULY SCRIPT IDEA

It's the Fourth of July. I want to ask someone to make this idea for me. I would if I knew how. That's where this board comes into place.  

NOTE: BEFORE YOU READ THIS, THIS SCRIPT, IT WILL TAKE SOME SERIOUS WORK AND CONSIDERATION AND WILL BE TIME CONSUMING.

THE STORY
========
The evening is warm, before the sun goes down, a little ceremony goes on to honor the veterans of the wars. People are happy, people are sad, what an emotional event. The night starts to set sail after the ceremony, a small party starts, people talk, people laugh. A loud speaker comes on all around people, "Fireworks will begin momentarily."

The action starts, boom, bang, boom bang, everybody is amazed by the bright colors and large explosions. It lights up al the area around them. The night is over people are tired, the time moves to morning again. A march ceremony will begin to honor the soldiers of the fallen/but not forgotten wars. You watch the march ceremony from a distance, music provided by a marching band. You hear some voices around you about how wonderful it is to be here.

The ceremony ends, everybody meets up around the area, you move up to people and ask them questions, and they give you answers. After your done with the whole event it's time to go home. Fourth of July is over "Independence Day" is once again remembered.

WHAT ON EARTH SHOULD I MAKE THIS FOR?

As a contribute to the past wars, and hundreds of people can download this, and post comments and replies on the "GREAT" scripting job the person did who made this. People will probably respect and love you for it. Also you will gain recognition on my site www.ofpcentury.com, and probably other respected sites if they know what is right and if the script is really good.

I WANT TO MAKE THIS HOW DO I PROCEED?

THE BEGINNING: You may start proceeding how ever you like. It's your script, I just have the idea. Remember hundreds of people could be viewing this script/story. So it must be really good and accurate to the second.

THE BEGINNING CEROMONY: With the beginning ceremony, you may offer then a gun salute using real firearms shooting them into the air, and the people can gather and laugh, cry, or moan, which ever. Maybe add some beginning text using cutscenes..Some cutscene work is a must in this idea.

THE BIG SHOW: Now time for the show. Offer the audience a real effect to the fireworks, have it at a city or where ever you would like. It must be on the islands of Everon, Malden, Kolgujev, Desert Island, Nogova. Why because I don't want to spend all my time downloading ADD-ONS, other people might but if 1 or 2 ADD-ONS must be places then so be it. Also small ADD-ONS will work if you wish.

Offer a lot of people to watch the display of fire works. Maybe everybody can be there, Russians, U.S., Civilians, Resistance, all the people gathered and enjoying the time. Even guba and his secretary can be there.  ;D.  Then it's time to go home, you may offer the player a chance to drive his car and go home and sleep, and then morning starts, now you may use the accelerated time code to do this.  

THE NEXT MORNING: You may allow the player to arise form sleeping, and then drive to the ceremony. Now with the march ceremony, this would be cool. Have a large formation of U.S. Soldiers marching around in a good size square. With an audience watching.  Have a band playing with real marching band music? So everyone can hear it no matter where your at in the stands where people are sitting and watching, or laying, or standing by there cars, etc.

NOTE: Please recommended to use cutscenes in this story/creation. Also Let the player interact with as much as possible. be creative use your imagination.

AFTER THE AMAZING CEREMONY
=======================
The audience groups around where ever they like and meet in groups and start talking. Now you don't have to make everybody talk, just have the action of their arms moving and talking to everybody. Have the player be able to go up to quite a few people, and ask questions to them about maybe the past wars, or anything you would like? Preferably stay on topic about the Fourth of July.

That's just too big to be asked if someone else can do it for you, I am afraid... of course, if you are a good team leader and you can get the right people to join your team then there should be no problems.

nice idea, but i think the fourth of july celebrates only the independence from England. Isnt it Veterans day that involves all the wars?

they could still have fireworks on Veterans day  though.

if you search ofp.info for fireworks i think sombody made some. there it is ;D

a band is 80% not possible for ofp but you could play marching band music. and have people marching, but no instruments.

by the way, ive been wondering,

do any of the UK/USA people still get bitter over the Independance war. but it was 200 years ago, nobodys still mad are they?

From what i know now about the comments, maybe I could start making the mission, and then try to get some scripting out of the way with my team. Then after I get it started I can ask for help. I just think it would be a really good idea to do something like that.

Also if anybody would still want to make it regardless of what kind of work it will take. Feel free to still email me. Also I will begin trying to put my ideas to work. Also I might be posting a lot of questions about scripting then, and also asking my team members. So all help would be much appreciated.

Yeah it might be too big for someone too take on but like I said if anybody wants too feel free. So Keep posting here, and we'll converse about it , Thanks everyone

Well, if it's any help I do remeber a fireworks addon made by Operation Burned Black Steel. The site I got it from is long since dead, but it was very useful and a lot of fun. Search it on google and see what you can find.

Well, I know I don't have any hard feelings about it. Heck, I'm one fourth English, so I'd be hating my own heritage! As far as I know, that whole independence thing is long in the past. Of course, what do I know? I'm just an ignorant American. ;D

afaik, england and the us are friends, they are most definitely allys, although currently the english public doesn't seem too happy with america because of iraq.... now..... perhaps we should move back to the topic eh?
