and as you would kill soldiers and hit them accuratly you would get exp point and then you got promoted does anyone think it would be a good idea
Most of the time soldiers don't get prommotions for killing OPFOR. They get promotions after completing a tour of duty, completing an
extremely high risk high stake special operation, after being awarded medals and/or are promoted in times of war (or sometimes peace) due to senority.
Its not "I killed 20 insurgents, so I made specialist yippie!". Although in some divisions during vietnam if you killed your weight in charlies you could get 6 weeks or so leave.
Also your captain isnt looking at your platoon during combat saying, "Oh boy he hit 17/20 reds I should promote him!"
For your campaign you should start of in basic and then get to train for a choosen unit. (Airborne, infantry, rangers...). Then you could go to Iraq on a tour of duty and come back. Then re-train and then be shipped out to someplace else. Have the usual markmens ship test in basic, if you score high you can train to be a sniper, physical fitness tests and weapons training. To be a true army RPG mod you need lots of new addons and islands and people to help you. Good luck.
