Flooring Problem ;)
« on: 11 Aug 2005, 22:54:43 »
Hello there.

I'm new to 3D modelling and am having some trouble with a simple model that I have made.  It is a floor object, but despite creating a geometry LOD, I still fall through it.

I've attached the P3D so if anybody is really bored could they please take a look and tell me what's wrong.

Thanks a billion,

@ShowID

Your model probably needs a roadway LOD so you can walk on it

@ivabigmole

Your question is off topic, try the Editing General board.

I know a little about a lot, and a lot about a little.

Sorry, forgot to mention that it has a RoadWay LOD as well, but that doesn't seem to work  :(

Any suggestions?

I think may know what's wrong - It's a pretty massive model (300m*300m) or something.  I will see if that has anything to do with it.

Turns out the model was just to big.

I've broken it up into bits so it works fine now.

Thanks anyway.
