black screen plus dialog...

i'm trying to combine a black screen via title/cuttext 'black in' with a dialog on top, but it seems the dialog is on the layer underneath.

what's the correct combination, or am i going to have to create a black background within the dialog?

EDIT - i've added a black background in the dialog, and that works fine.

I was just coming to that.  ;D

The titlecut simply turns your screen to black/white and whatever is in it. As far as I can figure, the black dialog surroundigs are your best and only option.  :-\
