Overview Pictures
« on: 28 Jul 2005, 17:46:28 »
I use PSP 7. I can put a border on the overview picture, but I can't get a drop shadow on it like the BIS pics and some of the better custom mission pics.

How are you guys creating these nice overview pics with border and drop shadow with no jagged edges?

I did try the search function, not a lot of luck with this particular inquiry.

the way i did it was to take a snapshot of the briefing screen using the 'prt scr' key, open it in photoshop and use the eyedropper to get the exact colour to fade to.

for example

Bedges has got the right idea. Otherwise you'll have to create alpha channels in PSP and convert the files etc. I do it the same way as Bedges. It's a lot easier.
