from what i understand, you can alter the size of an island/world by altering these two variables:
1. the distance between each elevation data point in in-game meters
2. the number of elevation points used for the map

can anyone verify that i am correct in my understanding?

but what i'm really curious about is:
1. in order to change the distance between each elevation point, do i only need to change the config.cpp's landgrid and setterraingrid variables?  what is the difference between the two?
2. how do i change the number of elevation points i want to use in a map?
3. how do i change the size of the map i want to make in WRPEdit?  (for example, when someone decided to make the AEC map, how did they do it?)

thanks,
pablo
