? _sqd getting shot at
« on: 23 Jul 2005, 16:58:36 »
how can i tell if _sqd is getting shot at ?
basically im trying to create a script wich gets wich units are detected by west in a trigger then if east are detected it then finds out who it is
then i want to check if the squad is getting fired at or is seen by the enemy then setcombatmode to yellow i think to hold fire ?

you could add a 'hit' event handler to each and every loon. that will tell you - admittedly after the fact - who has been detected and who is shooting at them....

well that was my first thought but that would make so much lag cause ive got so many patrols about and lots of fighting but snce there all random they may or may not be there

is there a way instead like a hell load of knows about commands to check who knoes the 3 squads ?

or is there any other way
