Question of the year.
« on: 04 Jul 2005, 13:22:13 »
Here is the question of the year:

Can with the help of scripting, units within the same group behave differently,

For example:

2 Units are within a group.   with standard editor, when u give waypoint to this group, both will go to that waypoint.  Can with scripting have each go their own waypoint, or each have their own combat behaviour, or speed or etc.

Yes or No, answer me quick.   lol

No.

You can make a loon go to a different place, for example with a domove command.   However speed and behaviour are group properties.   It might be easier to detach the loon from the group so he is in a group of his own, make him do what you want, then rejoin the main group later.

it sounds possible but i dont fully understand the question
do you want 2 units who are in a group go to 2 different waypoints at the same time ?
if so then i think so domove and move i cant remember wich but one works on units the other works on groups
