Look's pretty sweet Kev, i like the bullet riddled textures, which i presume appear when the heli takes a certain amount of damage.

Nice work, this mod looks like it will be well worth the wait!

YANK offensive??, give over that like saying the way u say brit is offensive or kiwi or aussi, and for your information argentina invaded the falkands islands which are uk's islands so we defended them.

The word 'Yank' is an officially acceptable term.

It is no different from Aussie, Brit, Scot, Fin, Swede, Kiwi,  or anything else.

If you have any complaints over terminology used, please feel free to contact an Admin with regards to the matter, but Yank is in no way intended as condescending nor derogatory, thus it should not be taken as so.

This issue is not open for further debate.

No-one on OFPEC intends to offend another member, these are not intentional insults, and thus, the fact being so, they should be negated by your own common sense, that if the writer of said offending post intended to insult you, he could have done it far more efficiently.

Apologies are given for all, but this is perfectly acceptable terminology.

We are all adults after all, and as such, these things should be nothing more than leaves in the wind to us, and just let it drift by.

Thank you.

You forgot "curry" on that list. :-X
*Grins* ;D
Although you know there are still derogatorive classification terms similar to those listed that aren't suitable and I have seen them on these forums. >:(

i think someone has gotten bitten by the PC bug.  Im a yank and proud of it!!! pretty soon you wont even be able to say ppl are "english" or "americans".  I think extreme needs to find a hobby and grow up.  now can we talk about this excellent heli that Mr Klink has made?  I think the model is extremely "fluid" and the lines flow very well.  I cant wait for it to join the pucara and the lynx in my add-ons folder.

The US  markings were taken from my Skyhawk addon  just for the publicity shots. There will be a Huey  in US and in RNZAF markings for download at some later date. The addon is primarily for the Falklands campaign, and since my mate in the US is creating the control panel for it, he will get it to use in US Army livery.

*Update* the US huey will be armed as a gunship as well as a variant as troop carrier, and medivac. A civilian version will have a hoist attachment (non working).

BTW is US allowable here ;D
Cheers

I hope you don't mind some constuctive criticism- if you do then disregard this post.

I believe the m-134 was mounted to the forward hard point on the H model hueys, and the rocket pods were mounted to he rear hard mounts.

Still- I love the model 110% better than I could do.  I don't think I could model a tin can.

I'll check this out. The only reference I had was for same mounting point. Thanks any way.
