setUnitPos
« on: 20 Apr 2005, 21:58:24 »
Hey everyone!
Just a question on how to set a unit on his knee. I assume I have to use the this setUnitPos "position". I also know that there are 3 (known?) functions from the online command referance: AUTO, DOWN and UP. UP I belive is for standing, DOWN is for prone and AUTO is default. So can anyone help? Thanks!

I think you'd have to use a switchmove/playmove animation.   setUnitPos does not cut this particular type of mustard.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

hey everyone, another thing about setunitpos, how do ioc all it for a whole squad? it gets kinda tedious when ur trying to get a whole squad to do it and you have to write it in all their init lines!

Hey!
@macguba
Once again, thanks macguba :)!

@ThEoNeAnDoNlY
The command for that, i'd assume is "_x playmove 'animation'" forEach units myGrp; :).
Thanks!
