Modern Tropical map

I was recently looking over all the islands I could find in OFP and somthing struck me: There are no large, modern, tropical or jungle maps. With mods like BOH (Battle over Hokkaido) and the new PLA unit packs coming out I think we need a good-sized island that has the right sort of climate...

The only island I have seen so far that is even remotly close is Mc Nool's Pacific Island... every other jungle/tropical map is either from the Vietnam or WW2 era.

I was thinking somthing along the lines of a Malden-sized tropical island, with a few big cities and plenty of farming villages. Lots of jungles and swamps, like BAS's Tonal island, but also including things like airports, factories, and harbours.

Anyone else think this is a good Idea?

I don't get what is wrong with Tonal for that sort of thing...

Tonal is about the best looking island there is, so why not use it, considering it is a tropical, modern island?

If you're looking for something malden-sized, with airport and modernish buildings, why not just use the Jungle Malden map? or Jungle Everon?

No, what I'm talking about would be somwhat ike that but with LARGE cities, factroies, swamps, etc... so yah a bit like Tonal but without the desert section...

The problem I have with Tonal Island is that it is so obviously ment to be african. I'm talking more about somthing that could pass as a modern Island in Indonesia or Malaysia. Somwhere that is more based on modern south-east Asia.

Tonal looks great, but has one major problem. I tested it and it was extremely heavy, my computer (P4 2.6, 1 Gb ram and Nvidia 5700 Ultra) had difficulties run that island smoothly. In MP it must be totally unplayable.

Any island with lesser objects or smaller size would be welcome. We have played Cuba-island but it has some serious bugs, for example forests that are made entirely of woods that can be walk through.
