dont know if this is considered an addon or not...

well over the past year or so i have been working on a new stingtable with realistic names. everything that can be changed without editing the .bin has been made a bit more realistic. also radio text has been de capitalized although the first letter on the first word is still. looks different...

This is a very nice addon (or whatever it is)!  It really adds a lot of realism for me!  One minor complaint, though.  You go to all the trouble of renaming the military vehicles, civilian vehicles, and weapons, but you forgot about the civilian plane!  However, because I am a student pilot, and an immense lover of flying and airplanes, I can help you out. ;D
Contrary to what the BIS model says, the civilian plane is not a Cessna 182 Skylane.  Cessna 182 Skylanes have a three-bladed propeller.  This aircraft has a two-bladed propeller.  Therefore, it would be my educated guess that the plane made by BIS, having two propellers, four seats, a high wing, and a window in the back, is a Cessna 172 Skyhawk.  Probably an "N" or "R" model, but that's not important. :P

Ok, now that I've said that, my suggestion is to rename "plane" to "Cessna 172 Skyhawk".  Or, if that's too long, something like this might suffice: "Cessna 172N" or "Cessna 172R"

i will add an updated version fixed a couple of deals like the v8 vantage is actually a skoda rapid. and about the plane to cessna, well there is no way it would work. because if i made it say cessna then an a10 or su25 far away would say cessna.

and this goes in your \res\bin\ folder. make sure you back up the old one first.

let me clarify what i said before. the plane class that the a10 and su25 are based on has the same name from the stringtable and the cessna does so renaming the cessna wouldnt work so good.

heres the new one:

Have you tested this?  I ask this because the cessna inherits it's class from the A10.  I don't see how renaming the cessna would affect the other planes.  After all, renaming the other planes didn't affect the cessna, and, like I said above, the cessna inherits the A10 class.

I think what he means is they all use the same name from the stringtable.

the cessna may inherit its info from the a10, but its name is the same as the plane class.
